Welcome to the City-Library of Landau!
If you want to borrow items, you need to become a member of the library. Otherwise you can use our collection within the library free of charge.

Library card
In order to obtain a library card you must present proof of a registered German address. Your residence permit must be valid for at least three months. Your library card is non-transferable and you are responsible for any item borrowed on your card.

Loan period
The loan period for books is 4 weeks and 2 weeks for CDs, DVDs and magazines. You can renew items borrowed on your card for 2 extra loan periods if nobody else has reserved it.
